A good and a bad leader at workplace

The definition of leadership  qualities I found was “A leader is a person who influences others to accomplish the group’s goals.”

The definition of leadership qualities in my opinion is both positive and negative. Positive leadership quality is being a role model, knowing how to get the group together and working for one goal. A negative leadership quality would be not letting anyone else’s opinion or idea into your life plan.

I think that all leaders should try their very best to lead others positively by being good at communication skills and passionate about their work.  Leadership qualities that I think are important to have are being good at communication skills, being able to let others opinions into your life plan and working hard for the group.

Good leaders have been found to have their minds open to situations and matters around them.  They are aware of the situation and know how to react. Good leaders will look at all sides of a situation before making their decisions about it.

Leaders should be able to communicate their thoughts with confidence, clearness and empathy. Leaders have a way in which they speak or act that allows others to feel safe opening up to them or following what they say because they trust them completely. This is something good leaders can do when communicating with others but bad ones cannot accomplish this.

Good leaders work for their subordinates and they’re positive and encouraging at all times.  This means that they are dedicated to the people who follow them. They will work hard on their behalf and help their subordinates reach goals that they would not have been able to accomplish by themselves.

When it comes down to leadership qualities I think that a good leader should be confident in all his actions and decisions.  A good leader has confidence in himself but also in others with who he is leading or working with him at the same time.

Qualities of good and a bad leader

The qualities of a bad leader are different from the qualities of a good leader.  Bad leaders are not open to the situations and matters around them, they can’t communicate their thoughts with confidence, clearness and empathy. Bad leaders cannot work for their subordinates because he’s only in it for themselves and does not really care about others wellbeing.

As we all know leadership is very important in life; without it, society could not be as successful as it is today.  The way that some people lead and the way others lead is completely different.  This means that each form of leading has its own qualities as well.

A leader should never stop trying to improve his or her leadership style by listening to all sides of an argument, even if it’s not in support of him or her, and being open-minded about every situation he or she faces, which is something a bad leader cannot do. That’s how a good and a bad leader differentiates.
