Former veteran cricketer, Pakistan cricket team’s x-factor, Shahid Afridi, has tested positive. He himself announced the NEWS on his official twitter account today i.e. Saturday (13 June 2020).
Shahid Afridi, also known as Boom Boom Afridi, said in his tweet that he has been tested positive. He was not feeling well since last Thursday, as his body was aching badly. He requested everyone in his tweet for the prayers for a “speedy recovery”.

Former cricket players, along with Pakistan Cricket Board and others have also sent well wishes to the legendary and Pakistan’s GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) Shahid Khan Afridi.
Azhar Ali (Pakistan’s Test-Team cricket captain) wished him for a quick recovery. Kamran Akmal also replied on his thread,

Wahab Riaz and Suhail Tanveer, both played with Shahid Afridi for a long time also replied with best wishes.
Pakistan Peoples Party (MNA) Dr Nafeesa Shah along with Javed Afridi, CEO (Haier & Ruba) and Chairman (Peshawar Zalmi, Benoni Zalmi & Zalmi Foundation), and other Showbiz stars also tweeted on Lala’s thread, and sent “love and prayers for a speedy recovery”.
One of a cricket host, Roha Nadeem, also replied and said,

Recently he found very busy in the front line to fight against deadly disease COVID19. During all these days of lockdown in the country, he along with his team worked to make sure none of the family in Pakistan sleeps hungry.
Shahid Khan Afridi with his foundation (Shahid Afridi Foundation) is working tirelessly in the remote areas of Balochistan Provence. The Balochistan province is Pakistan’s largest province by area and the most deprived province of the country. Shahid Afridi Foundation is distributing food and shoes to the remote areas of Balochistan since pandemic and a lockdown in the country. The motive behind is to ensure hope not out for all during COVID19.
