Good News for Tea and Coffee lovers, experts have revealed that high caffeine consumption is beneficial for weight and diabetes control.
A global research experts say that high consumption of tea and coffee is a cure for weight loss and obesity.
To test this hypothesis, a study involving nearly 10,000 people concluded that participants with higher levels of caffeine in their blood had a lower body weight, and were also less likely to have type 2 diabetes.
The chances of developing diabetes were also less.
Tea is undoubtedly good for your blood pressure, cholesterol, stress levels, mental health and productivity.
Side Effects of Coffee and Tea
There can be side effects to consuming these hot beverages based on their caffeine content. Caffeine can cause anxiety, insomnia and an irregular heartbeat.
In addition, coffee (both regular and decaf) can irritate the digestive tract, bladder and prostate.
