Shock and sorrow were expressed on social media after Honduran TikTok influencer Jennifer Nicole Rivas was discovered dead at her residence in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, this Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
The 21-year-old content creator and TV personality was found unresponsive in her bedroom, local media reported. Family members said Jennifer had epilepsy and took medicine to control her symptoms. Officials later said that she had died of natural causes and possibly also a seizure.
Jennifer was remembered for her fun-loving personality and popular videos on TikTok, where she had amassed more than 100,000 followers. Her posts would often show her humor, style or a little clip of her daily life. She also was a television host for CHTV, at which this up-and-coming young media personality in Honduras gained confidence and energy.

Fans and fellow performers immediately filled social media with tributes, calling her a “bright soul” and “a joy to watch.” Many of her followers expressed disbelief, noting that in her final videos she appeared full of life and excitement. Her final Instagram post showed her playing pickleball with the words “Getting ready,” now a poignant reminder for her fans.
