MG Automobile Pakistan is owned by JW Auto Park, MG Automobile Pakistan has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Morris Garages (MG) Motor UK Limited. It will establish Electric car manufacturing plant. MG Motors has launched two models namely MG HS, MG ZS and MG ZS EV in Pakistan in 2020.

Engine : MG HS 1.5 Turbo a 4-cylinder petrol engine of 1490cc which generates a maximum power of 119/5600 kW/rpm at a torque of 250/4400 Nm/rpm.

The MG Hs is top of the line variant and it consists of all the technology or specification that you need now a days in a car people liked it a lot at first because of its features and MG cars were booked instantly by people in Pakistan.

When it reached the market and people started using it they were disappointed because of fuel average and some other issues were like they took too much time to deliver the vehicle, no after sales service workshop setup, no parts availability long delay in parts.

Parts are extremely expensive, bad resale value and no technical assistance in case of breakdown from MG Pakistan.

My personal experience with MG Hs Pakistan

I had my own personal experience with MG ZS. It is a good car, very comfortable nice shape and also feature wise.

The issue I face with it was that it gives you better performance with normal petrol but that was wrong because every time when I fill the tank, I had to fill it half with high octane petrol which is very costly now a days and if you don’t fill it with high octane the car is underpowered and does not perform well.

The other issue I faced is resale, And i wanted to sell it and waited almost 7 months to sale it but No. one was willing to buy it and at last I had to sell it for 4 lakh loss through Pakwheels.

MG is a good car as compared to global standards but according to Pakistan they need to do more market research to be profitable in Pakistan market.
