A Pakistani veteran T20 right-handed opening batsman is still leading the run-scoring table in vitality blast. Babar Azam has signed to Somerset this year and proved to be the best draft ever for the franchise. Remember that Babar Azam has replaced Azhar Ali who has also proved to be a great asset for the franchise but now he is out and Babar Azam is in the list of Somerset players.

Yet they need to play with Surrey at the Oval on 27th August 2019 to get its confirmation of playing the next round of the knockout. In the 12th match, Somerset flattened winless Glamorgan. In that match, Babar Azam was awarded man of the match as well as he made 63 crucial runs just in 42 balls with a strike rate of 150. Remember that Fakhar Zaman (A veteran opening left-handed Pakistani batsman) has signed with Glamorgan this year, but he was not in the playing 11 against Somerset because of his inconsistent performance for the team.
