Former U.S. President Donald Trump has urged officials to release “credible” information from the Jeffrey Epstein case as demands surge from his own supporters. Speaking during a press appearance, Trump said that if any files contain credible evidence, “let them have it.” His comment follows a growing wave of pressure from the MAGA base demanding full transparency about the Epstein investigation.
Trump described the Epstein case as “sordid but boring,” downplaying the controversy while acknowledging its persistence online. He criticized media coverage and said “only bad people” continue to promote conspiracy theories around the case. Still, his recent statement suggests a shift in tone as the backlash from within his movement grows louder.
The demand for Epstein-related disclosures has been building since a Department of Justice memo confirmed Epstein’s death as a suicide and said no client list exists. That report has not satisfied many conservatives, who insist there is more to uncover. Popular MAGA voices like Dan Bongino and Mike Johnson continue to pressure Attorney General Pam Bondi, who oversees the case under Trump’s direction.
