Rain in Karachi arrived earlier today and gave residents a much-needed break from the intense summer heat. While many welcomed the cooler breeze, the downpour quickly created problems for thousands of commuters and families across the city.
Showers started mid-morning in areas like Gulshan, Saddar, and North Karachi. Within an hour, rainwater filled roads and streets. Traffic piled up as vehicles crawled through flooded spots. Major roads such as Sharea Faisal, MA Jinnah Road, and parts of Korangi turned into water channels, trapping many drivers.
