PTI Protests Meant to Destabilise Country: Sanaullah

Islamabad [Pakistan]: Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was using protests to close the country down.Its recent rallies are not public issue-specific, but is part of a larger conspiracy to foment chaos, he added.

Talking to reporters, Sanaullah said that PTI’s leadership is attempting to create a situation of political unrest in the country.

“They want to slow down our system, and under mine and Mel’s leadership, they want to paralyse the system and divide this nation,” he said.

The government will not allow any one to take law in his hands, as both the leaders are citizens of Pakistan and eligible to all their rights of citizenship, Raja issued these remarks during his interaction with the CPs of Hazara and Quetta, here at the Ministry.

He said peacefull protest is a right, however both violence and cause of violence will not be tolerated.

Law-enforcement are on a high alert, Sanaullah said.Anyone found to be disobeying the law or causing a public nuisance will be dealt with, he warnes.

The minister also held PTI responsible for damaging economy.Such protests create panic in the market and deter investors, he said.

“Our everyday lives are being impacted by their actions,” he said.However,

Govt is struggling to address the economic issues, but PTI is hurdles in it, but similarly, in political game.

Sanaullah asked parties to behave responsibly.It is a time to join for the stability and economic revival of the country.

We have to build, we can’t destroy.He also urged the general public not to be cajoled by false stories.

Rana Sanaullah’s remarks mark the government’s hardline position against opposition-sponsored protests.As tensions escalate, the interior ministry issued a blunt message:

National security is the highest interest and no political maneuver permitted to unsettle the peace.
