Life teaches lessons far better than literature does – A true Story

Man feel depressed in his life

With this incident, I was able to know the bitter truth of life. Which is, we people after failure and losing something, reach the place which is the biggest dream of millions of people. People after the work of their two or three races, don’t reach the position, at which we stuck after our failure.

2 years back, I had come across to the biggest failure of my life. In that time I was also facing and fighting with the serious depression and was down into dumps. Whenever this type of situation occurred in my life, I just start to do awkward things. This is because I feel doing these awkward things to get some relief.  I used to walk on the roads and while walking, sometimes I reach unknown places or villages. I take any train and go wherever it goes. I take local buses and spend all day there, I take any taxi and ask the driver that “Keep Going”. The life seemed to be rough and tough, I just wanted to get rid of depression, and I invented these awkward ways to get some relief. It is my own way, and at least it works in my case.

One day, I hired a taxi for just a random ride. That was very old and even wasn’t working properly. The driver was even in a more rough and bad condition. After starting the ride and passage of time. Fear had started in my mind that I came here to remove my depression but what will happen if I lose my life here. So, my depression changed into fear. I decided to leave that taxi and asked the driver to stop the cab, He stopped it. After giving five hundred rupees a fare to the driver, I came out of the cab and asked the driver that he can leave now. I started to walk again. After just a ten to twelve steps of my walk, I felt that someone is coming behind me and immediately, I looked behind and saw that the driver was running towards me.

The driver was old and sick, so he reached to me very hard and started to take long breathes when he became normal, He asked: “Can I kiss your Hands??” I became surprised and asked “Why Baba G” He replied “Sir. I haven’t had any customer from four days, there is nothing to eat in my home from two days, and you came as an angel to me and gave me five hundred rupees, now I will buy something to eat for my children and directly will go home but before that I want to kiss your hands”. Then he took my hand into his hands and I thought that my biggest failure has come to me and I am depressed about it, but after all of it, this man is considering myself as the richest person. I became the richest person in just five hundred rupees. There were two people there, one was me and second, was that driver. I was considering myself the useless and loser person, but at the same, I was the richest and humble person in the eyes of that driver.

That old man was standing in front of me and my hands were in his hands. I started crying, He was looking at me with amazement. He was amazed that there are many notes of five hundred rupees I have but why I am crying?? How would I tell him that I’m suffering from a disease which is called “Ingratitude” and even the greatest doctors don’t have a cure for it? This is the bitter truth of life. Even after everything, we feel we have just nothing. But when we look around ourselves, there are so many people who have nothing than an empty body of flash.

Moral:

We must thank ALLAH Almighty, for everything he has bestowed us instead of crying and being worried all the times.
