Karachi Sea Warning Alerts Cyclone

The progress of Cyclone Biper Joy in the Arabian Sea has accelerated. The Meteorological Department has issued the eleventh alert regarding the cyclone, Bepar Joy. NDMA has also issued instructions to take precautionary measures. Citizens do not refrain from violations

Storm surges towards shores. The government and the administration started doing rescue equipment. Cyclone Biper Joy intensified. This storm system is advancing towards the north. The wind speed in the center of the system is 140 to 160 km/h. Strong winds and heavy rains are expected in Sindh from June 13. Heavy rain is expected in Karachi, Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Tharparkar, and Mirpur Khas from the evening or night of June 13. An eleventh alert has been issued regarding the storm. Due to possible threats, section 144 was imposed in the coastal areas of Karachi, but the citizens did not stop and reached the beach to break the heat.

Spokesman NDMA has also said that Cyclone Biper Joy is located at a distance of eight hundred and forty kilometers to the south of Karachi. Which may intensify in the next 24 hours. Hurricanes can bring high winds, torrential rains, and flooding to coastal areas. NEOC continues to monitor progress through international models of Bipper Joy. All agencies are required to respond to any emergency. An instruction to be prepared has been issued.

People should refrain from going to the beach for sightseeing while fishermen take their boats out to sea
