Prime Minister Pakistan, Imran Khan, on Tuesday, addressed to the Speaker in National Assembly. He said that there is no doubt that India has backed the terrorist attack on Karachi Stock Exchange to demoralize business environment and to destabilize Pakistan.
PSX (Pakistan Stock Exchange) having three trading floors in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad respectively. Among them, the main trading floor is in Karachi, which is Karachi Stock Exchange KSE. On Tuesday, i.e. 30th June 2020, four terrorists attacked entered in the KSE building with heavy guns and garnets. But Pakistan law and enforcement agencies and establishment had already indicated the plan and they acted in time to make the damage the plan of terrorists.
Yesterday, in a National Assembly session, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan addressed said that neighbouring country, India, wanted to destabilize Pakistan. So they planned an attack on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) to create uncertainty in the country’s markets.
Recently, PM Khan wrote a letter to the UN Secretory in order to draw his attention and to acknowledge the world community to continued brutality of Indian forces on local citizens of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).
PM Khan further added that Pakistan establishment and intelligence agencies were already indicated and they informed the local police department for a potential threat. So everyone was on high alert. Mr Khan highly appreciated and praised the efforts made by the law and enforcement, particularly intelligence agencies and Sindh police for a rapid response to foil the attack.
