Bus overturns in Thatta near Malki, Sindh, where a bus veered off and fell into a ditch, resulting in six fatalities and leaving 12 others injured. The deceased were first taken to a mortuary in Orangi Town and later shifted to Edhi’s morgue in Sohrab Goth, Karachi.
As reported by the Associated Press of Pakistan, the vehicle was transporting a group of picnickers from Karachi to Keenjhar Lake when it overturned on a sharp curve. Rescue workers and local officials reached the site shortly after the crash.
Speeding, poor road conditions, lack of vehicle maintenance, and weak enforcement of traffic rules often lead to accidents like these in Sindh.
