The Federal Government has officially announce Public Holidays on Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6, 2025, to mark the observance of Ashura (9th and 10th Muharram-ul-Haram 1447 A.H.).
The two-day holiday allows citizens across the country to participate in religious events and rituals held in remembrance of the sacrifices made by Imam Hussain (R.A.) and his companions.
A notification in this regard has also been issue by the cabinet division.
According to the notification, public holidays would be observed across the country on July 5 and 6 (9th and 10th Muharram).
