A trip to China Border from Islamabad

After completing my degree I made a plan with my friends to go to China border and all of them agreed. We started our journey at 6am and when we reached Abbottabad motorway the view was very amazing because the weather was pleasant and clouds were so low that the small hills were covered in the clouds and after some kilometers it started raining, and throughout till kaghan the weather was same but when we reached naran the clouds dispersed and it was a sunny day.

We made our first stop at naran and walked in the market of naran but couldn’t walk much in the sun so we again went to our car and started our journey towards babusar top. When we reached babusar top and went out of our cars there were so many people who were enjoying the view and the cold weather

But I really I must say when I saw the mountains and the view it was breathtaking like I only seen it in movies, it was wonderful too much beautiful, we spend some time there and ordered Chai and after finishing Chai we started our journey because it was getting late and also darker because it was almost getting night so we headed towards chillas but after crossing babusar top there was land sliding and we got stuck there for almost 2 hours but by the grace of ALLAH all were safe and at last we reached chillas. We ate a little bit and quickly came out of the hotel went to our cars and headed towards gilgit, we reached gilgit at 11 pm and we were very tired at that time and just needed some room to sleep.

From Gilgit to Hunza

Next morning we decided to go to hunza we pack our things put it in the cars and headed towards hunza, when we reached near hunza it was again cloudy weather and the view was too much beautiful, the mountains were so huge like I’ve never seen before. When we reached hunza we roamed here and there in the market of hunza and one thing I saw there that the people there were very educated and they were so nice to travelers, after roaming in the market we went to altit and baltit forts which has an history and the view from there was also amazing and there were too many people there. At 6 or 7 pm we started to look for a room and one my friends friend lived there so my friend called him and asked for a room and he arranged it for us, they charged 2000 for each room, we had 2 rooms and after seeing the rooms they charged very low because of our friends friend. We spend our night there.

China border

The next morning we headed towards China border,  we stopped at passu cones the top of the mountains were covered in clouds and seriously they were the tallest mountains I’ve seen in my life and the view was too much beautiful, we again started our journey and after sometime we reached China border and we came out of our car snow started to fall and seriously it was so much cold that I couldn’t even move my head to left or right I felt that my neck was freezed but still we went near to the border took some pictures and started running towards our car because the cold was unbearable and quickly sat inside the car and told the driver to switch on heater and after that we got a little bit normal.

Stuck at Gilgit

We stopped at passu cones the top of the mountains were covered in clouds and seriously they were the tallest mountains I’ve seen in my life and the view was too much beautiful, we again started our journey and after sometime we reached China border and we came out of our car snow started to fall and seriously it was so much cold that I couldn’t even move my head to left or right I felt that my neck was freezed but still we went near to the border took some pictures and started running towards our car because the cold was unbearable and quickly sat inside the car and told the driver to switch on heater and after that we got a little bit normal. From there we came to passu cones there was a hotel we had our lunch there and it was the best lunch in all the 6 or 7 days, after having lunch we came to hunza and spend our night there and the next day came to gilgit but couldn’t go to Islamabad because of land sliding so we had to stay in gilgit and the next day we started our journey towards islamabad but got stuck in landsliding for almost 22 hours and I even slept on the road under a truck and there was no water to drink and no food to eat I can never forget that day or night we reached Islamabad almost in 42 hours I guess.. I can’t forget that trip ever.
