India fired missile in Pakistan – Latest update

India fired missile – Gofrixty News – DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that on March 9, 2022 that an object entered Pakistan from Indian borders on which Pakistan Air Force conducted full monitoring, He further added that Pakistan condemns the incident.

On 10 March during the press briefing in Rawalpindi press club He said that this incident could have resulted in a major aviation disaster, it is important to highlight that the fly path of this object have endangered the human lives and property on ground.

Pakistan also asked India for a thorough and transparent investigation of the incident, the outcome must be shared with it.

There was no immediate reaction from the Indian side.

Technical details of the incident

Air vice-martial Tariq Zia told in press briefing about technical details of the incident, He said that total distance that it travels inside Pakistan was 1024km, total time from pickup till its impact on the ground was 6 minutes and 46 seconds, however the time that it stayed in Pakistan’s territory was 3 minutes and 44 seconds.

From the forensic analysis, it was supersonic missile and it was launched from ground.

Aircraft crashes in Mian Channu and damaged some property, it is claimed that it was launched from Sirsa.

Pakistan’s armed forces are ready respond to any kind of challenges and threats, it is aggressive and condemnable act by India.

According to details, Rescue 1122 and other teams arrived on the scene to take part in the rescue operation.

India’s response to Pakistan

India said on Friday that it had accidentally fired a missile into Pakistan this week because of a technical malfunction during routine maintenance.

Indian Defense Minister said that, Government of India has taken a serious view and ordered a high-level court of enquiry.

The incident is deeply regrettable, it is also a matter of relief that there has been no loss of life due to the accident.
