When everyone in a particular country has access to high-quality health care services that also includes diagnosis of disease, preventive care, treatment, and rehabilitation as well is called Universal Health Coverage (UHC). When every individual is protected from major health-related financial shocks through a financing system that is tax-based or simply a health insurance plan, we say that UHC is present in that population.

The United Nations Organization working so effectively in the same mission to ensure that every individual can access the good quality of health services without facing many hurdles regarding the financial and availabilities of the sources. This activity has been named universal health coverage

According to The World Bank IBRD IDA, Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is about ensuring that people have access to the health care they need without suffering financial hardship. UHC also allows countries to make the most of their ensured asset: human capital. Health is a foundational investment in human capital and economic growth–without good health, children are unable to go to school and adults are unable to go to work.
