In the Premier League, the English top-flight clubs splashed some cash on the final day of the summer transfer window, taking the net spending to nearly £1.40bn with Arsenal spending club record £155, being the biggest spender this summer in England.
Although this summer saw the fewest number of transfers made in the Premier League in Last six seasons, the total spending was the second-highest in its history, only behind the record that
was set in 2017. The deadline day spending crossed £170 with only 17 transfers made, with Everton pulling the biggest move of the day, signing Nigerian winger Alex Iwobi from Arsenal on a 5-year £34m deal.
Arsenal pulled two late signings on the final day of the transfer window, buying Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney and Chelsea centre-back David Luiz on £25m and £8m respectively.
Romelu Lukaku was the biggest transfer of the day going out, as Inter Milan signed the Belgian striker from Manchester United for £74m. this move seems to make this more interesting for so many fans, as the teams are now making more and such a significant strength that they can utilize their sources wide openly and can effectively achieve the desired goals.
