Gofrixty [18 September 2025] – Meta has lifted the lid on its most advanced pair of smart glasses to date in the form of Ray-Ban Display, which is expected to reimagine the way we engage with technology. And it blends a built-in screen, integration with AI and even gesture control using the groundbreaking Neural Band wrist device. Together, they provide users with an alternative path to augmented reality.
The Ray-Ban Display is a small, bright AR screen embedded in the right lens. These allow you to read messages, receive prompts from navigation software and even translate languages in real-time or access apps such as WhatsApp and Messenger directly through the glasses. The screen goes up to 5,000 nits of brightness, so the information is easy to see even in outdoor sunlight.
Neural Band is among the biggest breakthroughs, a slim wristband that includes electromyography (EMG) sensors to pick up tiny muscle signals. It enables users to interact with the glasses through small finger gestures, swipes and pinches. That means you can respond to messages, scroll, even write in the air — all without touching the glasses.
