 In the same courtroom, the man accused of murder had photographed himself with large knives to intimidate people.The 22-year-old was pictured with a number of weapons just weeks before he launched the fatal attack, prosecutors told the trial.Officials said he leveraged these images to taunt people online and enhance his reputation on the streets.

It was told that the defendant shared the images on social media.He brandished long-bladed knives, and at times thrust them toward the camera or flashed gang-related symbols. These photos were one of a pattern, aimed at sowing terror and demonstrating his dominance in his patch, local prosecutors said.

The evening of the Pancholi murder, witnesses saw a violent battle bet ween two factions outside a shopping center near the site of the killing.He arrived to find the young man dead on the spot.The suspect was taken into custody several hours later at his home.

Police executed a search of the house and found clothing that matched descriptions provided by witnesses.They discovered messages on the accused’s cellphone connecting him to the incident.The phone had contained threatening language and references to violence with a knife, the officers said.Prosecutors said the suspects were planning for battle and were motivated by intent.

Defending challenged the accusations, saying the photos did not show that he was guilt. Images reported to have come from the accused’s lawyer said the images were old and not related to the substance of what happened so long ago that Mr. Amisy has died. He argued that his client had no intention of hurting anyone and acted in self-defense after the argument.

More witnesses are scheduled to testify as the trial continues this week.The case has caught the attention of the public and renewed a debate in Britain about youth violence, social media and gang culture.
