Gofrixty [5 August 2025] – Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) is also a condition and impacts the veins in leg returning blood to heart. Pooling of blood is what happens when the valves in the leg veins no longer work as peanuts resulting in swelling, discomfort and sometimes the skin color changes too. This condition is often attributed to aging, sitting for many hours or being overweight, and can be inherited.
Former President Donald Trump, 79, developed CVI after he had a recent check-up on his health. The boxer said his doctors have told him he experiences pain and swelling, particularly after he stands for a long time. If left untreated, this condition can degenerate even more I.e. throughout the life of a patient. Typical symptoms include aching, heaviness, varicose veins and in some cases skin thickening or even leg ulcers.
Although Trump’s condition is still being monitored, he has kept himself active. He missed many high profile events, but walks unassisted and follows a regimen that includes exercise. Those who are familiar with his medical team say he is complying with their recommendations: that he takes prescribed medication and wears compression stockings to control symptoms. He even adheres to a daily walking regimen — a practice that has been said to encourage blood flow and limit bloating.
