TV News said that what was originally reported as a gas cylinder explosion near the G-11 district courts complex in Islamabad is actually suicide.
The attack has so far claimed 12 dead people and 21 been injured, (x-ref 03-91) occurred near an entrance of Judicial Complex. Lower courts and offices in the area are frequented daily by lawyers, litigants, and security personnel.

In the wake of the blast, security throughout the federal capital has been tightened considerably which in fact is under investigation to find out who the bomber was (or is)and whether he had any links with far-flung extremist networks.
