Pakistan and Saudi Arabia launched the GO AI Hub in Islamabad, setting a new direction for cooperation in artificial intelligence, data infrastructure, and digital innovation. For both parties, it is an important tech partnership.
The hub was jointly inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ministry of IT and Telecommunication (MoITT) and GO Telecommunications Group from Saudi Arabia, and has established under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Its mission is clear, it will train Pakistani professionals in next-generation AI technologies and connect them to global markets through Saudi investment and expertise.
At the inauguration ceremony, IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja and Saudi officials outlined how the project would boost Pakistan’s digital ecosystem. They said they would establish advanced data centers, promote AI research, and foster collaboration between education institutions and industry. And also the hub will provide thousands of high-end jobs supporting startups involved with machine learning, robotics and cloud computing.

Also Minister Khawaja said the GO AI Hub represents Pakistan’s vision of building a research-based economy through innovation. To organize, she called the cooperation a strategic leap which will allow young engineers and entrepreneurs to compete internationally and Saudi Ambassador Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour added that this partnership shows Riyadh’s confidence in Pakistan’s technical potential.
