Flood in Saidpur village caused by illegal construction from the past few years, due to which the right way of nullah was narrow down. Saidpur received 157mm of rainfall on Monday.
3 cars and several motor bikes were swept away due to flood in Saidpur village. A natural stream, flowing from the foothills of the Margalla Hills, runs alongside Saidpur village Over time, this stream has become increasingly congested.

a local villager said that this stream used to be neat and clean but now its dirty and narrowed down due to encroachments, he further said that many outsiders have constructed there homes in Saidpur village.
CDA had already started an anti-encroachment operation in Saidpur village. The team will resume work once the rain stops. Their mission is to clear all encroachments in Islamabad and ensure every area is used according to CDA’s zoning rules.
The current monsoon season has already disrupted two major development projects of the CDA — F8 Interchange and the Jinnah Square.
