Twitter once again slapped Donald J Trump for violating terms

Donald J. Trump tweet concealed by twitter today

It’s a 5th time that a social media giant, Twitter, has concealed tweet thread of 45th president of United States of America, Donald J Trump. Repeatedly Twitter has issued warnings to the Donald J. Trump and his team for writing against the community concerns and violating predefined dimensions of the social media tech giant.

Latest, on Tuesday i.e. June 23, 2020, Twitter put a warning on a 45th President of US, Donald J Trump in which who warned protestors from building an “autonomous zone” in the capital city of United States of America (Washington DC). Further, he used a word of “FORCE” directing the term to the protestors and said they would be ”met with serious FORCE!”.

The social media tech giant, Twitter, via their Twitter safety platform said that the President’s thread violates its policy prohibiting abusive behavior. And they specified “the presence of a threat of harm against an identifiable group.” The tweet says: “There will never be an ‘Autonomous Zone’ in Washington, D.C., as long as I’m your President. If they try they will be met with serious force!”

On the thread, Twitter Safety replied while concealing the thread posted by Donald J Trump,

We’ve placed a public interest notice on this Tweet for violating our policy against abusive behavior, specifically, the presence of a threat of harm against an identifiable group.

This time, Twitter has only kept this tweet hidden, that twitter users, including Trump supporters, will be unable to like, reply or retweet it. But, they can only be able to retweet with a comment only. It is because the thread actually violates the predefined terms of a social media giant.

Following is given exactly what Twitter had commented on the thread,

We’ve placed a public interest notice on this Tweet for violating our policy against abusive behavior, specifically, the presence of a threat of harm against an identifiable group.

Furthermore, they also added that,

Per our policies, this Tweet will remain on the service given its relevance to ongoing public conversation. Engagements with the Tweet will be limited. People will be able to Retweet with Comment, but not Like, Reply, or Retweet it.

To support their statement, they also mentioned that this is not the first time that Twitter has concealed any of the tweets. They added while attaching a supporting link of a blog post of World Leaders on Twitter: principles & approach, which defines the dimensions, terms and conditions for the world leaders who use Twitter as the medium of communication with their supporters. And they mentioned that:

This is not the first time we’ve used the public interest notice. More on our approach and policy guidance behavior.
